Dexter Crossing, Boston, Massachusetts - Originated and closed $6.5 million refinancing of 22,000 square foot high-street retail condominium in Downtown Crossing market in central Boston.

1325 Avenue of the Americas, New York, New York – Originated and closed $50 million mezzanine loan as part of refinancing of a 750,000 square foot class A property in midtown Manhattan. 

 

Equity Interest Financing, Manhattan Office Properties – Originated and closed $10 million financing of equity interests in various class A office properties in Manhattan.

 

Dallas Galleria, Dallas, Texas – Closed $50 million mezzanine loan on the Dallas Galleria, a trophy mixed-use asset in Dallas, Texas consisting of 1.3 million square foot super-regional mall, 1.4 million square feet of class A office space and 431-room Westin hotel.

 

Office Portfolio, New York, New York – Originated and closed a $50 million mezzanine loan and preferred equity investment on 805 Third Avenue and 3 East 54th Street in midtown Manhattan.  A $120 million senior loan was provided by CSFB.

 

Retail Portfolio, South Florida – Originated and closed a $36 million financing of the acquisition and turn-around of 13 under-performing retail properties in south Florida.

 

Homewood Suites, WA, CA, TX, FL & TN – Originated $35 million loan to finance construction of five Homewood Suite hotels throughout the United States.

 

Assisted Living Residence, Canford, New Jersey – Originated $11 million loan to finance an assisted living residence.

 

Subdivision, Danbury, Connecticut – Originated a $1.5 million loan to develop a 24 lot subdivision in Danbury, CT.

 

Linens ‘N Things, Braintree, Massachusetts – Originated $6.4 million construction loan to build Linens 'N Things.

 

White Plains Road, Tarrytown, New York – Originated a $5 million financing on a Clas A- office building.

 

Multiple Assets, Stamford, Connecticut – Originated eight loans totaling over $10 million on office, retail and multi-family assets.

 

Seasons Condominium – White Plains, New York – Originated financing of 322-unit Class-A condominium development.

 

South Westchester Executive Park, Yonkers, New York – Originated construction loan on 42,000 sf flex office building.

 

Mid Westchester Executive Park, Hawthorne, New York – Originated construction loan on a 150,000 sf Class-A research and office building.

Loan and Property Acquisitions

 

Paris Square, Northvale, Bergen County, New Jersey – Acquired $12.8 million nonperforming loan secured by 28 partially completed condominium units and land to construct 10 townhouse units and 46 condominium units within an 112-unit active adult community. 

 

Ringwood, Passaic County, New Jersey – Acquired $3.6 million nonperforming loan secured by a 48,000 square foot vacant refrigerated warehouse building from a CMBS servicer.

 

Medical and Professional Office Building, White Plains, New York – Acquired a 30,000+ square foot occupied medical and professional office building.

 

Loan Secured by Professional Office Building, Paramus, New Jersey – Acquired nonperforming loan secured by a professional office building from a multinational bank.

 

Loans Secured by Two Partially Completed Subdivisions, Monmouth and Ocean Counties, New Jersey – Acquired two $3.1 million nonperforming loans from a multinational bank. 

 

Multifamily Property in Tarrytown, Westchester County, New York – Purchased 7-unit multifamily property located in Tarrytown, Westchester County, New York.

 

Loan Secured by Estate Residence in Westchester County, New York – Acquired an $8.375 million loan secured by an estate residence in Westchester County, New York from a multinational bank.

 

Lennar Joint Venture Transactions, New Jersey – Originated and closed eight joint venture partnerships Lennar Corporation to acquire and develop residential land development parcels throughout New Jersey totaling over 900 single family home sites.

 

Subdivision, Ocean County, New Jersey – Acquired and sold-out 48-unit subdivision in Egg Harbor, New Jersey.

 

MGM Plaza, Santa Monica, California – Acquired a $22 million preferred equity investment in MGM Plaza, a 1.1 million square foot, class A office complex in Santa Monica, CA.  The preferred equity investment was part of a $255 million financing. 

 

Solana, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas – Acquired a $32 million second mortgage loan on Solana, a 1.7 million square foot, class A office complex in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.  The Solana loan was part of a $332 million refinancing. 

 

Plaza las Fuentes, Pasadena, California – Acquired $14 million second mortgage loan on Plaza las Fuentes, a 182,140 square foot class office building and a 350 room Doubletree Hotel in Pasadena, CA.

 

135 East 57th Street, New York, New York – Acquired $25 million mezzanine loan on a 414,000 square foot class A office building in midtown Manhattan.

 

Time & Life Building, Avenue of the Americas, New York, New York – Acquired $25 million interest in a $200 million loan to refinance the 1.7 million square foot Time & Life Building in New York City.

Fee Estate of the Graybar Building, New York, New York – Placed $56 million mortgage for fee owner of the Graybar Building, a 1.2 million square foot class B office building located at Grand Central Station in midtown Manhattan, on an optimal debt financing.

 

Seasons Condominiums, Whtie Plains, New York – Placed $60 million equity investment in 322-unit highrise condominium development.

 

Graybar Building, New York, New York – Co-authored and taught a case study on the Graybar Building at Columbia Business School.

 

Mixed-use Portfolio, Norwalk, Connecticut – Restructured multiple loan relationship of over $10 million including retail and office properties in Norwalk, Connecticut.

 

Subdivisions, Westport, Connecticut – Restructured loan relationship of subdivision properties in Westport, Connecticut.

 

500 Mamaroneck Avenue, Harrison, New York – Oversaw $48 million construction loan on 250,000 square foot class A office building in Westchester County, NY.

 

Connecticut Financial Center, New Haven, Connecticut – Oversaw $50 million first mortgage loan on a $110 million development of a 500,000 square foot class A office building.

 

Freehold Raceway Mall, Freehold New Jersey – Oversaw $20 million participation in $141 million construction loan used to build 1.4 million square foot Freehold Raceway Mall in Freehold, NJ.
